Hybrid metal detectors
NAD4000-D YANUS is a series of hybrid needle metal detectors, i.e. designed to benefit from both a magnetic and an electromagnetic sensor mechanism.
A head with a disc type magnetic sensor, specially designed for this line of devices, is so strong, that it can easily detect needles and pieces of wire mesh, regardless of the direction in which they are oriented which otherwise would be very difficult. All this without the influence of factors that normally impede detection - moisture, salinity, and elevated temperature.
Such accuracy of detection of the YANUS devices is achieved by using 3 different winding axes, wound around a disc-type head, and using an electromagnetic head as a cooperating system. As a result, the possibility of omitting any metallic inclusion is close to zero.
YANUS devices, in accordance with the Now System standard have a set of ports enabling communication between the device and other automation elements in the production plant, i.e. serial RS, USB and LAN ports. Metal detectors in this series also have an intuitive control panel with the ability to view the detection history both on the device itself and on an external computer, after exporting the data.
