Metal detectors for products in aluminium packaging
ALCON, a detector produced by the Korean company NowSystem, is a metal detector from the NAS-4000 series. It is a specialized solution designed to detect contamination of food products with metal elements in various types of aluminium packaging. This device is even more precise in terms of metal detection than x-ray systems - due to the implementation of a system of double sensors and the fact that packaging density has no bearing on the precision of detection.
Thanks to the use of intelligent passive magnetic surface sensors, the moisture and salinity of products, such as meats or cheeses, do not affect the detection by the ALCON metal detector. In addition, this technology allows the detection of thin longitudinal contaminants, i.e. wire fragments, metal chips or broken needles, regardless of how they are oriented inside the package.
NowSystem's metal detection devices in aluminium packaging are available with wider conveyor belts and detection zones than the other detectors offered by the company. In addition, different detection zone heights are also available. Like all other NowSystem metal detectors, ALCON devices are easy to combine with other elements of the technological line thanks to USB, RS serial and LAN ports. They also come with an easy-to-use operator panel with the option of viewing the detection history on the device and transferring data to an external PC.
