All the metal detectors with an integrated material transfer and contamination removal system which we implement in our projects have a modular design. It, firstly, ensures easy integration with other systems, and secondly, guarantees easy assembly, disassembly and maintenance of devices, thus saving their service time. Thanks to the integrated rejection systems, these types of control systems take up very little space on the line, giving greater opportunities for spatial optimization in the production plant.
Depending on the product to be controlled by these combined detection and automatic rejection systems, different types of error removal mechanisms can be selected. For bulk goods, it may be a lowered section of the belt, or a ratchet discarding a section of material containing a foreign body into a waste container. For unit products and packaged articles, depending on their dimensions, weight and how they are treated after rejection, these can either be ejectors, pneumatic systems, or ratchet mechanisms.
