The SmartSort L-type optical sorter with belt design simultaneously opens the sorting options for large-sized assortments and is an improvement in the sorting processes of medium-sized assortments but of considerable weight.

Sorting large items

The mechanical L-type SmartSort sorter system is specially designed for loose assortment with a very large grain size or a very heavy weight, which other devices are not able to sort or do not achieve efficiency as high as the SmartSort L-type device. Excellent stabilization and control of flight path elements in the detection zone makes this device achieve high purity with minimal losses even when cleaning very difficult assortments with high Inertia.

Product Safety

The belt arrangement of the device ensures stabilizatiy of the assortment and minimizes its path in the air. Thanks to this, delicate and expensive assortments are not damaged by uncontrollable collisions between grains or with the device itself.

Highest sorting precision

The optical system of the SmartSort L-type optical sorter is based on the highest-class Cloud color camera technologies, supported by cameras that operate in near-infrared, which is invisible to the human eye. The EagleEye intelligent software has been adapted to control the nozzle system specific to this sorting platform and uses a pneumatic ejection system of incredible efficiency tailored to the belt construction of the device, which allows for additional speeding up of the sorted assortment.

The SmartSort L-type optical sorter, thanks to its technology and a clever layout of conveyor belts, nozzles and cameras, is a leading solution in the sorting of minerals, non-ferrous metal scrap and the transformation of large-caliber plastics. In addition, no other device achieves such high performance and purity class in sorting products such as walnut or almonds. In the case of sorting large and heavy food products, the option to install near-infrared InGaAs cameras is particularly valuable, resulting in even better accuracy when removing shells and other foreign bodies.
